The build quality, the working quality and the performance of this piece of hardware are very good. However, they are not made for Europe, so the Mi Home app needs to be set to China for it to show up, then it works great, but when it receives an upgrade, it will get disabled outside of China. You can then let them re-enable it by sending a mail to them from the app and wait. I already found some GitHub info to hack it and use it without cloud functions.
